Old Town San Diego State Historic Park

Old Town San Diego State Historic Park is a must-visit gem! Stepping into this living history museum feels like traveling back to 19th-century California. The beautifully preserved buildings, colorful shops, and lively atmosphere make it perfect for all ages.

We loved wandering through the Casa de Estudillo and exploring the many boutiques filled with unique souvenirs. Don’t miss the delicious authentic Mexican food at one of the on-site restaurants — the carne asada was fantastic!

The park is free to enter, with paid tours and the haunted Whaley House adding extra fun. Great for families, history buffs, or anyone wanting that classic San Diego experience. Highly recommend spending at least 2-3 hours here. 4 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
